1. The Site Review

After making initial contact with Top Position to discuss your search engine optimization needs , we will conduct a preliminary web site review. An SEO expert will look over your web site as it stands, making provisional observations relating to on-page optimization and site structure.

At this stage, we may ask you what kind of SEO work you have carried out previously and gather background information about your site. Do you have any design work planned for example? How long has the URL been active?

2. Analysis

Now we know a little bit more about the history of the site, your SEO account manger will speak with you about your optimization goals. This information will help us to complete a full and detailed site analysis. Our search engine optimization service is designed to reach and surpass client expectations so don’t be surprised to hear us asking about your own project goals and expectations. We’ll factor in these important objectives and bear your targets in mind when we reach the decisive planning stage.

During the analysis period, we will run both on-page and off page optimization evaluations. This gives us a much clearer insight into work to be carried out in the short and long terms. A full link back report will be run, showing back links and page rank of those links. We’ll also look at link text and check rankings across all major search engines. Next, your search engine optimization manager will turn detective and do some sleuthing on your competitors. Not only will we visit their web site but we’ll also check their link backs and web rankings.

3. Development

After discussing the findings unearthed during Top Position’s site analysis, your assigned search engine optimization specialist will set to work with a plan of action for month one of your new SEO campaign. With keywords identified, the next step is to create a planner of work to be carried out. This will include a PR plan for all press releases and articles to be completed during month one as part of the digital marketing side of your new optimization campaign.

When you sign off on these ideas, the creative will be produced at weekly intervals and passed to you for approval. This creative forms an integral part of the link building and on page optimization campaigns. In order to target relevant link backs, a distribution list of target web sites will also be compiled and presented to you for sign off before proceeding.

Social media forms an important part of all link building activity – in order to foster a community around your brand, direct targeted traffic to your site and generate relevant link backs, we will also identify appropriate social media outlets to leverage as part of the search engine optimization process.

4. Campaign Evaluation

Top Position has a number of in-house systems to measure the evolution of your SEO campaign. Not only will we continue to monitor your own link backs and rankings but we’ll also keep a close eye on your competitor activity as this is often a good benchmark for your success. Web ranking reports will be sent to you showing keyword performance across all search engines as well as link reports showing new links added, link text, page rank of new pages linking back to you, and links that have not yet been verified. Your SEO account manager will discuss all of these statistics and reports with you to ensure you’re fully briefed on account performance.
